The Roots & Shoots Global Learning Hub is a digital learning platform developed by the Jane Goodall Institute to support youth, educators, and group leaders in taking action for people, animals, and the environment.

The Learning Hub delivers its impact through:

  • Structured online courses and training modules for youth leaders and educators
  • Resources that support the Roots & Shoots 4-step action model (community mapping, planning, action, and reflection)
  • Toolkits and guidance to help groups design and deliver real-world environmental and community projects
  • A global learning environment that connects users with the wider Roots & Shoots network

We supported the Roots & Shoots Global Learning Hub by:

  • Designing and developing a scalable learning platform tailored to global educational delivery
  • Building a clear, accessible user experience for learners, educators, and programme facilitators
  • Implementing and maintaining the LearnDash-based system to ensure reliable course delivery and content management
  • Optimising performance and structure to support international rollout and multilingual content growth

We continue to support the platform as it expands its global reach, helping more young people turn learning into meaningful action in their communities.
